by bringing land under vegetation and enriching the soil through plant litter and animal waste, and bringing people together from around the world to support long-term soil-centric policies across all nations

About Sadhguru

Sadhguru, the founder of the Save Soil Movement, went on a 100-day motorcycle journey from the United Kingdom to India, traversing 27 countries and 30,000 km bringing together leaders, experts, visionaries, influencers. and citizens under a common goal: to save our soil. Sadhguru has been invited by many international agencies, including the UN, UNE, UNEP, IUCN, UNCCD, and WEF, to discuss global ecological issues and the solutions. His efforts have been directed towards one goal: raising Human Consciousness. For the past three decades, Sadhguru has been working towards raising awareness about the importance of soil and the threat of Soil Extinction. Sadhguru has launched many ecological initiatives over the years including Project GreenHands, Rally for Rivers and Cauvery Calling to address soil restoration, revitalize India's rivers, and increase green cover. These initiatives have been established as a blueprint for "economic development that is ecologically sustainable." 

Conscious Planet

The Save Soil Movement is working towards creating a Conscious Planet by:
1. Bringing the world's attention towards the soil crisis

2. Inspiring at least 4 billion people (60% of the world's electorate of 5.26 billion) to support long-term policies that revitalize soils

3. Driving national policy changes in 193 nations towards increasing and maintaining the organic content in soils to a minimum of 3-6%
